There are trains to different cities in Spain, as Madrid (5 hours and a half), Seville (around 3 hours), and lots more. People usually prefer to take coaches rather than trains as the prices are cheaper but we recommend you to visit the RENFE website for further information, they give full information about trains in English too. http://www.renfe.es/

Getting to Granada by coach:-

There are many buses each day to and from the other Spanish cities, most of them are operated by Alsina Graells. Seat availability is not normally a problem and a great majority operate seven days a week, hourly. If you want to check the availibilty of the seats, check the schedules or book online please visit http://www.continental-auto.es/ (in English too).

Bus station:

Ctra. Jaén, s/n. 18014 Granada
Tel.: 958 185 480 / 958 251 358

The bus station is the north of Granada, around 20 min. from the city centre. To get to the centre you can take a taxi or local bus, routes 33 and 3. A single ticket costs around 1 euro but if you are going to be here for a more than a day, we recommend you to buy one of the bus passes that let you have 8 rides (around 5 euros) or 17 rides (around 10 euros). This ticket can be used by more than one person, the perfect option if you are not travelling alone. This pass let you take any of the red buses that go through the city. For further information of the routes please visit, http://www.transportesrober.com/lineas.html#

By car:-

There are excellent motorways connecting Granada to most of the major cities nearby. However, parking is one of the biggest problems Granada has today so if you do not have a parking place in your hotel please allow plenty of time to find a space, ans expect to have to use public parking
