Cádiz, Horses & Sherry

A day trip to Jerez and Cádiz. Sherry tasting in a bodega where the British made sherry world-famous, the Andalucían horses and Cádiz of Nelson fame.

No trip to Andalucía is complete without seeing the spectacular horses perform. We take you to see a horse show including a visit to the stables where you will be amazed at the beauty and talent of these pure-bred animals. Afterwards we will go to a Sherry bodega. Sherry is treated in a very different way in Spain, not so much a drink only associated with older people. The visit is worth it for the smell alone, one of the most evocative you will experience, although of course the tasting is not to be missed!!

To complete the visit we head for the city of Cádiz, the oldest city in Europe known as "Little Havana". It is surrounded on three sides by water, has beautiful Atlantic beaches and here you can eat fresh seafood and fish. The city was where the combined Spanish and French fleet was based when they ventured out to confront Admiral Nelson, in the battle that changed the face of Europe.
