This is an afternoon tour, leaving Seville centre at 14:30 for the Aljarafe on the outskirts of the city.
Wine tour
There we will visit an ancient bodega, and tell you about the history and process of wine making in the region, which was at its height in the days of Christopher Columbus and the discovery of the New World. As oppose to Jerez, the bodegas we visit in this region really are authentic - you will meet the owner to whose family it has belonged for generations, and you will not see a large number of other groups wandering around at the same time. At the end of the tour you will have the opportunity to sample some of the wines and sherries that we have told you about.
Depending on the opening hours that day, we may get the opportunity to visit a beautiful convent in the Aljarafe as well.
Bullfighting tour
Our next stop is a local bull ring, the home of Espartaco (Spartacus) probably the most famous bullfighter in Spain of all times. You will get to learn about this incredible tradition, and to see the young bullfighters training, some of whom have already had fights in famous bullrings like Seville at the age of 18! This is a unique opportunity, as generally this is a difficult world to enter into, but once inside is very interesting, probably different to your expectations. We can assure you a memorable experience.
We return to Seville at 18:30.
Please contact us for a price quotation, as prices depend on the size of the group.
